Have you ever traveled ?
Maybe the journey was long and overwhelming. Irritating and exhausting . You just wish it was over and you would finally arrive at your destination. You may have felt like you were driving for a long time and not making any progress. Although you were. Many times we fell that way in life . We are going along on our journey and doing the best we can and we are not reaping any results. We feel stagnant and frustrated.
Do you know that you are never going to be forsaken or left that the one who created you wants you to turn to him and surrender..
Surrender means that we do not have to fight anymore.
This weekend I attended a conference that reminded me that I am a Child of the One true King and that I am set apart from the world, although I live in the world. I do not have to conform to the world and its ways. When we showed up to the conference I was tired, angry, frustrated and discontent..
The theme was " Follow the Yellow brick road of faith " form the wizard of oz. Dorothy was amazing and the voice of God was done in reverb and rather impressive. The scarecrow needs a brain, the lion needs courage and the tin man needed a heart. WOW does that sound familiar for a person following and seeking the will of God !
There are plenty of scriptures to back the courage, the heart and the brain.

All things work for the good for those who love God! By mid afternoon Saturday I was emotionally broken crying out to God once again, only in a much different place . Repenting my anger and my reaction to things in life. I know that I am not a victim but a volunteer to my circumstance because I been operating in my own strength and not His. Me on my own, is like that tornado that landed Dorothy In the land of OZ.
You are royalty and worthy. You have been called to be set apart a righteous people, people who are designed for love, relationship, joy, purity, kindness, patience, peace, goodness, self control. We are made in his image and his image is good.
Ask yourself are you fighting against powers and principalities that are causing strife, anger, grief, and all the negative emotions in the world. Do you know that He has over come the world and through him you can too.
Dear God,
Today I pray that you slow my tongue, stifle my anger, place my feet on solid ground, change my perspective teach me to love the unlovable and at times that is myself. Give us todays daily bread so that we may grow in you and find our nutrition in your word and in your ways. Give us the character of you, teach us that our ways our not your ways and allow us to improve our thoughts, renew our minds and allow us to run to you , to run to the cross, before we think or feel, if its not your thoughts remove them.
Build up your courage, renew your mind and examine your heart.
